I slept through my alarm this morning. When my boss called me (waking me up) to ask why I wasn't at work, I begged to be allowed to stay home and sleep. You know, I seem to remember a time when I could speak in something besides quotes from The Simpsons...I just don't remember any specific moments.

I was dead set against it! But then I thought, if Homer wants to be a woman, so be it!

Well, not really. I (well, Robin) shaved my head on Wednesday night (Wednesnight?). I lost patience with waiting for the black to grow out. I have to say, it's shorter than I wanted (shit happens), but it's very relieving to look in the mirror and see my own hair color again. I'd forgotten that I missed it. Tonight I went to the Tattered Cover to get some writing done. Adrienne, one of the Head Mamas of the Coffee Mafia, was working. She greeted me with:

"Hey! Your name's Monkey, right?"

Word gets around fast these days.
