I'm more partial to the greetings at airports where to-be-parents meet for the first time their child adopted from mainland China or Romania. Or when adopted children meet their biological parents for the very first time. The full-in-effect inconsolable sobbing of joy, while being surrounded by relatives who are also sobbing and taking pictures of us embracing.
