Doesn't John Reid have a bit of a leg up on the leadership right now (he said from the sidelines in Canada)? That would be even worse than a continuation of Blair.

No, John Reid has a bit of a leg up on getting utterly crushed by Gordon Brown should his recent spot in the limelight go his head to such an extent that he loses his mind (even further) and stands in a leadership election
