So on wednesday I joined Keren at 7:30 A fucking M on 59th street (was it CBS?) some station for a promototion of some Ladyfest*east event. Not only did they not give all the girls a warm studio to sit in BUT we also had to wait till 8:30 for the filming in the freezing cold AND they ran out of time so instead of interviewing some of the girls we ( Read more... )

i was actually even talking to some friends about taking a road trip to new york, when it worms up.. the idea is out there.

did you have 1+ minute between each shot because every picture looks like it took some time to come up with the posing. when i go to photobooths with a friend we're always wondering "OHNO! what should we do in the next shot!?" between the pictures

hey, im barely on this thing and ended up on your page from clicking on random people's pages. I didn't think anyone knew about the bluefly thing; i went by there today but the idea was tempting because I knew I'd probably spend too much anyway or that there wouldn't be much left. You made a fashion week post also. Good to know that there are others doing the same thing. I thought I was nuts. But if you'd like you can view them from Spring 2004 shows linked on my page.

yeah? i'll check them out. whos collections did you like? i thought that tuleh and diane von furstenberg had a cool collection, also marc jacobs of course although i wasn't too impressed with marc by marc. there was more but those are the ones that really stuck with me. i'll make the full post when i get home later.

oh yeah marc by marc practically made my eyes bleed but the marc jacobs dresses were just charming. I loved YSL Rive Gauche of course, as I almost always do. Oscar de la Renta was great with the hints of gold. The menswear adorned Clements Ribeiro really impressed me. As Four & Boudicca's futuristic designs were not bad although I'm a sucker for vintage designs. I really adored Proenza Schouler's shoes, Chloe and Celine's accessories, and this one Miu Miu bag along with some Junya Watanabe sneakers there. Oh and those Prada's shoes! Sorry for the rambling :/.

see i LOVED proenza schouler's collection for spring 04, i thought it was one of the best and i was expecting alot for fall but i just wasn't really into it. i think i'm just kind of turned off by the earthy colors of this fall and can't look past it.
