I applaud you, that's what I probably would have wanted to do in the situation, but I'm rather easily manipulated because I'm always scared of hurting people's feelings even when they obviously don't care about hurting mine.

Thanks. There were many worse things I could have said to my grandmother. We haven't been on friendly terms since September, civil terms since December, and speaking terms since January. She's lucky my mother made me send an invitation to her.
