quitting +hanging out +evil relatives = FREE?

For the first time ever, I have actually quit a job. Today, I gave my two weeks of notice at Dunkin' Donuts. I feel kind of bad, b/c I've been getting almost full-time hours lately, it's been so busy. And nobody is allowed to ask off any more vacation time in August, but here I am asking to leave a week into the month... but i'm not asking for ( Read more... )

Ahhh- let me know if I can do anything! Or if you just want to tell me what's going on. And congrats on quitting- I should do that with DMP. It sucks. Retail makes criminals out of otherwise healthy/happy people.

I would love to tell you all the sordid details of my uncle's insanity and evilness.

Also, fast food did more damage to my sanity in three months than 3 years in retail has done. It's like retail, to the umpteenth power. Or so it seems to me at the moment :)

August 24th. Then I'm coming back for Christmas, and only coming back for a week or two next Summer...

Oh my dearest Emily, I would miss you at D&D IF she ever had us working together. I was hoping to do something the weekend after my birthday, if you could set a lil time aside to hang out with lil ole me.

what day/time are you thinking? (to be honest, I'm beginning to wonder if I should take off the last two weeks period and not bother continuing at MB. Considering how many days I'll be requesting off, I'll be lucky to get 20 hours with the two weeks combined! Maybe I should avoid the hassle and just spend that time hanging out with people and helping my family pack for the prospective move...
