ok... I think I may have had a mini emotional breakdown today... but I think I'm recovering. I'm definitely gonna need to talk to some people... but, yeah. I feel somewhat rational again.

The first time I read Pride and Prejudice, I was heart-broken as Elizabeth scathingly refused Mr. Darcy's marriage proposal. Since then, I have come to love that scene. It's one of the few moments where he actually shows emotion.

Normally, feeling like this I'd say something like "I HATE MEN I HATE MEN I HATE MEN" and then feel a little better. But it's not a hatred of men that's bothering me right now, so that would be inaccurate ( Read more... )

I think I've spent way too much time writing and thinking about birth order. It's really pushing me over the edge. The last time I spent a whole vacation doing homework I went insane and resented my teachers for the rest of the quarter.

I got a letter from BYU yesterday naming me a "Brigham Young Scholar." Today, I called the apartment building where I'm renting next Fall and found out the names of my room-mates. I can't believe it.
