A very happy twenty-third of January to you all. Today we celebrate the "victory" of the U.S. in Vietnam (hyuk hyuk hyuk) and the only time in U.S. history when the testimony of a ghost helped decide a trial.

Ha, that's the book my teacher is trying to convince us to read in my drawing class. He's big into the philosophy of why we draw and what structures our art.

That is very cool. I'd love to go, but with a trip to Washington and another to Portland for esoZone, I won't be able to go this year (again...!) If you make it, there's a few folks I know online with camps I could introduce you to, if you're interested.

What little I've read (and even littler I've understood) of what I'm to understand is Buckey's Lifetime Masterpiece convinced me that this guy probably DID figure most of "It" out, and that this book is probably an astounding work of sheer genius. Like you, I hope to one day read it enough times to understand what the hell he's saying :P
