I hope Obama does a good job. I voted for him, but I wasn't exactly pleased with my options for this election (I almost voted for Bob Barr). He's a fine speaker, but I'm not in favor of his policies of socialized healthcare and wealth redistribution. He does seem to resonate with a lot of people and maybe he will help unify our somewhat disjointed ( Read more... )

i went with the constitution party (baldwin), but i'd much rather have obama in the office than mccain. i also have concerns with the dems having both the house and senate. maybe it'll work out better than when the repubs did, but i guess it's just a matter of time before we know.

regardless, it's neat to live in such a historic time.

The Repubs can still filibuster. That's a huge thing. It's another check in the checks and balances that keep our nation from getting anything huge done.
