That is quite amusing. I actually know quite a few folks our age who absolutely love their DSs. Several of my LJ friends are avid DS users and two even got their wives addicted to the handheld.

Personally, I prefer my home consoles, but I've definitely spend an absurd amount of time with Dr. Mario (GBA) and various DS games. I'm currently playing through Ninja Gaiden DS, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, and Trace Memory.

aw. that is sad. damn Alicia can't play DS from Boston or something? definitely try to keep track of your old games. you may be hiding treasure from yourself and others.

my LJ friends happinessiseasy and inherentmalaise both play AC DS. i think obajoo does too. i'm sure they'd love to have some virtual neighbors.

you're welcome to borrow Phoenix Wright when I'm done. I'm on the fourth case, so I should be finished pretty soon. This game is tough near the end if you're not using an FAQ.
