Agreed whole-heartedly!!! I was in line at Chipotle the other day, and these two women obviously in their late 30's - early 40's were in front of me chattin it up. They had the small purses, the bubble sunglasses, makeup caked on to make them look younger, and the tighter fitting (though I will admit, more tasteful than some out there) clothes. One was even smacking gum loudly enough I could hear her in a loud, crowded restaurant. I instantly stereotyped them as the old people desparaetly trying to hold on to a shred of youth. Then I thought about it, and realized "So friggin WHAT?!" I'm gonna be that way when I reach that age. Because you shouldn't act old just because people say you are. Age is completely a state of mind. Act accordingly.
Adulthood is overrated by a long shot. yes, wear your black nail polish with pride. The day I sign up for my SUV and Martha Stewart subscriptions and my Rachael Ray cookbook is the day I should be set on fire.

This is why I'm so damn proud to be your friend. Because you know exactly who you are and aren't afraid to go against the grain. I know you'll never become old and boring, and neither will I, and that we'll be able to rock out together forever. And that makes me incredibly, incredibly happy. :D
