[Tired of all the new feathers yet? Sorry, but here's another one - and he's loud. Very loud. [The door of the clothing shop busts open and Beat comes tumbling out, his shirt stuffed into the back pocket of his pants. He adjusts his hat on his head and pointing at Squalo with the hand holding the journal - it's still on so Squalo might get the next line in stereo.]

[it's about this time that Squalo is starting to wonder what the hell he's gotten himself into. he's sitting on the edge of the fountain with his sword across his knees and blank expression on his face, watching the scene unfold. the ball, however, is in his court now so he's no longer concerned with waiting for the fight to start. Squalo grins, picks up his journal and decides to write his response.]

I took a charming stroll around the village, smelled the roses, rescued some drowning kittens, but for the most part, I've been here, waiting for your slow ass to show up. Are you done primping yet?
