I checked eyeshield_21 for the first time since the last chapter came out and I found that someone had written up a translated summary of the extra bits of trivia from the last volume. Here are some of the more interesting/relevant points (including why Taki didn't show up in the last chapter and the secret of Hiruma's little black book):

I bet he sends home videos/DVDs of all the episodes/movies he "stars" in going, "LOOK AT MY SUCCESS, MY DEAR FAMILY" and Suzuna complains very loudly the entire time her parents make her sit with them to watch but she's still scanning every scene until he comes up and she's secretly happy for him.

And probably sends messages to him saying "STAY OUT OF TROUBLE" and to his friends/team going "he's an idiot please look after him."
