Teething nightmare

Finally she is asleep. This was the worst night so far -- her second top tooth is coming through. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. She is just so miserable. I wish she would chew on stuff or want cold stuff or SOMETHING to help with this instead of crying

My sis in law swears by this herbal stuff they sell at Whole Foods...It's got calendula in it, I think. And it's not the Hylands teething tablets...wish I could remember the name of it. I'll get back to you on this.

Does Tylenol help?

"Camilia" is what we have used in the past. Not sure how effective it was though.

THAT was it. I thought calendula sounded wrong...it's a butt cream thing, isn't it?

They don't seem to work for her at all. I can try them again today. Do the two on every hour regime...but for the most part when we have tried them there was no noticeable assistance.

i am company too...long distance company. O is going through this now too and i'm assuming it's more teeth. of course she won't stand for anything in her mouth. and all it is is a night full of crying. and a tired mommy and crabby daddy the whole day.

Oh boy, a tired mommy and crabby daddyy - you got that right! It just makes sense to me that you would want to rub on the teething parts to make it come through faster. I know when my wisdom teeth were coming in I was constantly chewing on the gums because it felt good. It almost feel like this super sensitivity to putting pressure on them makes the teething process more drawn out.

Hang in there...Erica would chew on a frozen pacifier- maybe that will help?
