Balmex (better than A&D or desitin, imo)? Baby powder? A prefold held up with a scrunchie sumo waistband kind of thing? (like this? http://www.ecwear.com/catalog.php?item=362)

I'm a huge naked pusher. I clean up a lot of pee and poops as a result, but I'm a freak about irritation, especially on a little girl because it can cause adhesions and taking them down can be more painful than rash.

I would suggest though, since your not compleately sposiephobic, to use well-fitting disposables during super active time. Butt balm is cheap and works good, cornstarch around the fat folds and change the sposie often. Depending on how much you want to spend, there are some really awesome well fitting diapers out there. Since fit seems to be the main irritant, I would look into Huggies as the sposie of choice since they are stretchy all the way around, fit really awesome around the legs, they don't sag when they are wet and are made for active babies.

powder right before you go for a walk? Have you tried those snappies? They really hold things snug.
