I'D SAY YOU ARE.

Hey. I have a plan for the sound-led and the parts are on the way. I'll at least make a couple of prototypes for you to play with.
Problem is: the very least I can make them for is about $7 each, maybe a bit less. It needs batteries, and batteries are expensive: more than half the total cost, even with cheap no-name batteries of questionable performance. I swear it's actually cheaper to buy some finished product and swipe the batteries from it.

You know, I took 3 days off the entire month I was in New Zealand? Every other day, I was riding a bike, hiking or almost dying in the middle of a river. THAT's what I'm used to :)

We have the most important show of the band's existence on Saturday, but I wasn't expecting this experiment to see any light (uh, heh.) by then. The show with the Motomen in Sept. got canceled. Boo ( ... )

I have ear protection. *sticks fingers in ears*

AA batteries are totally a possibility. It's just that I can get 3v watch batteries for $1 each, and I need at least 5 volts to run the speaker amp. So it's either 2 watch batteries or four AA batteries, and that gets heavy. I'd like these things to be just a bit larger than postage stamps so you can pin them to clothes and they won't drag the clothes off.
But, with that said, I can probably build them tiny and we can stick on whichever battery set would match best.
