it's probably nothing, but my mum had the same pain before she went and found she had a small breast tumor. it was caught early on and everything was fine... but go just incase.

Hey! Not to freak you out but I'm a big hypochondriac and panic attack haver- so I research a lot of cardiovascular stuff. The sitting on your chest thing is the only thing that brought up a red flag when I read this. You should def see a doc and see about getting an ekg or something b/c the left side is the heart side, and my doc always tells me when I'm having an attack that if it were really heart related it would feel like someone was sitting on my chest. I hope everything is ok, I'm sure it is.... my Uncle actually pulled a muscle that made him feel such pressure in his chest. After getting checked it was the pulled muscle.
