For all you mushroom lovers...

The cell wall of cells in mushrooms contain chitin....which is the same thing found in the bodies of insects

mmm...so the next time you enjoy eating one of your fungus treats remember you could be eating an insect and it would basically be the same thing

tarantulas have cells, and so does lettuce.

Just because one component is the same doesn't mean eating a mushroom is at all like eating a bug (don't take this as RAAA!!! I just thought the logic was amusing)

I'd be willing to bet some can. I mean, Cane Toad toxin cane be smoked to give people halucinations. I'm sure there is some bug out there that has evolved a plant defense that induces halucinations.
