Right, you now how if you fail an exam really badly you're parents get kinda pissed at you? Imagine that, times that by 768 and you get an 8th of what I get when I get less than an A or 89%. Yeah, I know and ppl reckon their parents are strict. If I'm not perfect or don't get the top mark in a text I'm screwed, and unfortunately not in that way. ( Read more... )

Wow. And I thought my parents were bad! Heck, I got a D on my math final and I didn't even get yelled at because my parents knew that I had studied hard. Sometimes as time goes by parents realize that you're not going to do the best in every subject. For me, I'm not very strong at math. I generally get Bs in math, which even with my bad final I still got a B-. If I get a B, they expect it and they don't yell at me as much. Maybe in time your mum will ease up on you.

Good luck in school and everything.

Still, I'd rather she just yelled at me, at least then I could yell back at her and tell her how I really feel, not that she'd care...

Don't wish that she would slap you...

Im sure your mum does care which is why, although she puts it into differnent phrasing, she wants you to do well.
I put that in bad words. Just sometimes id rather my mother used physical stuff rather then making me feel guilty whenever im at home
