I hear you guys all fucking complaining about there not being any good muic venues and about how the legacy sucks so bad, but lets fucking do something about it. I'm serious about this. Let's start our own venue. We can start up a new place that will be the shit. And why not? It will give us all something to do over the summer and we can make some ( Read more... )

yeah..you talk all that shit, but do you know how hard it is to start a venue?

1. actually getting a building
2. getting a soundman/equipment
3. getting everything necessary(toilets, concessions,air conditioning, water etc)
4. keeping the place in order
5. getting the venue's name out

its hard work

oh and this might help:
In western mass theres a DIY venue which is basicly a backyard shed which we manage to fit about 50 people in. I'm sure if you really wanted to you could come up with something like it. You can check out there website:
