BNL does the alphabet song..

For the amusement of my linguistic friends and parents of young children.

Barenaked Ladies has a version of the Alphabet Song on their new album for kids:

A is for aisle
B is for bdellium
C is for czar
D is for djinn
E for Euphrates
F is for fohn, but not like when I call the ladies
G for Gnarly,
H is for hour
I for irk
J for jalapeno

That's why I left that particular bit of lyric in there. (They had lots of other stray comments, but I edited most of them out.) :-)

But no commentary on the rest of the words? :-)

My lovely lady wife bought the kids book and CD, although we haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. (They did a few of the songs at the concert.)
