X-Men 2
Story: There's a chap called William Stryker, and he's very mean, and the X-Men are a bit dis-chuffed by him invading their school/trying to kill every mutant in existence etc and so try to stop him... It's a bit more than that, but not much. C (7)
Acting: Not too bad. Ian McKellen and Brian Cox chew the scenery nicely as the main villains, which is always fun. B (8)
Script: Not as in-jokey as the first one, but oddly better for it. C (7)
Picture Quality: No complaints- this is a Hollywood blockbuster though, so that's to be expected. B (8)
Sound Quality: Not bad- apart from the seemingly ubiquitious drops during the action set-pieces. B (8)
Music: Nothing too bad, but nothing too memorable, either. C (7)
FX: Very nice- and the CGI was a little less silly than the first one, too. A (9)
Overall: A fine sequel- but I fear for the third one... B (54)(77%)
Didn't win the quiz, but meh- at least we managed to shut Just Us up about Henry VIII and his divorces.
