Five days later, spn reaction
I had Monday and Tuesday off from work, so this is my first chance to post this. SO THERE. (They were paving my parking lot, so I couldn't exactly let people park there.)
OH DEAR GOD CAS TOOK OFF HIS BELT. I love Sam, not this one, but Sam in general. And yet Cas's belt was the first thing I took from this episode. Though Dean's remark about coming out of hell wrong was lovely.
WING MAN. OH MY GOD. DUDE WHAT THE HELL IS WITH ALL THIS EPIC. ANGEL CAVITY SEARCH. The first five minutes of this episode makes watching this worth it. I was a little surprised Grandpappy had his soul, but I suppose the fact that he's under orders should be explanation enough for that. Lolol Crowley's bitch, etc. Except that he's supposed to be family and all that. Also not a big fan of the other hunters. You know, at all.
Okay, you know what Sammy, I really thought you might learn not to lie. REALLY NOT A FAN OF NEW SOULLESS SAM. I'm not understanding his fucking logic. I am totally with Dean on this. I mean, tell Grandpappy everything, but lie to Dean. I mean, you'd think that a lack of emotion would have improved his reasoning skills, but apparently Grandpappy torturing things for information when you don't know what information he's looking for is just peachy keen.
Hmmm… I thought I had heard they were going to be moving away from all the religious stuff this season, but we've got civil war in heaven, and a search for purgatory… I mean, it's not apocalypse-level religious, but the religion definitely is still there.
Crowley…is pretty fun. Evil is so much sexier with a British accent. I think I'd pay to see him in a Good-Omens-esque relationship with Castiel, like Aziraphale and his Crowley. Or, you know, hatesex. That could work too.
Sam almost shot Mitch Pileggi. And I love that Dean couldn't answer him as to why they were letting him live. That was a great moment. At least in part because it looked like Sam got a little of his logic back, when he realized they probably had to deal with Crowley. I wonder what Cas will think of that :3
