i contemplated posting this to the canberra community so i would get answers but than i thought i shouldnt worry because all my friends are intelligent enaugh to know the answer to this next question ( Read more... )

1. Buffering is the compture downloading the next part of the feed.
2. You'd need a faster connection.
3. There's programs that do it, but not very well and they're all trial so they'll only record a minute or whatever.

1. Buffering is a pre-load while you stream (i.e. listen to online streaming music - triple J) here is a basic diagram

| the music you are listening to | the buffered music (loaded and ready for you to listen to) | The rest of the live broadcast --->

2. That's called laaaagggg my friend you'll grow to hate it and short of upgrading you net connection considerably there's nothing you can do. essentially it's when you reach the end of the buffered music but the buffer has not moved forward enough

3. Wouldn't know how to save a stream, sorry.
