Good news all around. 

1. Chris's pathology results came in negative.  He is, for all intents and purposes, cancer free.  He will have to visit his doctor a lot for checkups, to make sure, but this looks to be over:-D
2. Rumsfeld is resigning.  Prompted by the elections, mumkin?
   
3. The elections went well.

My novel is coming along.  I'm about 2500 words behind
