A sad fact I've been fighting to forget.

I am so sorry to read this. I went through something similar with my Nana. She didn't get sick, just old. Once in a nursing home, I tried to block out and ignore what i knew would be coming. Before I knew it, she was gone. I am left with a whole lot of regret and an emptiness I never knew I could feel! She was my life...my everything. No death has been harder to accept, and I know death well. So, reading this post makes me truly ache for you. I hate that you're going through this. If you need me, you know how to find me;)
