By nature most HS friendships are shallow and don't last very long. I've only got a very few friends left from that time in my life with whom I'm still in contact. And only because each of them is extraordinary in some way.
College, though, forces people to grow up, and prioritize about what's really important. Time doesn't get wasted with people you don't really care about, because time is short, and there are so many people available from which to choose friends.
Don't waste time missing people who won't miss you. It is not your insignificance that causes their disregard, it is only because they are shallow.

And you know, I think a lot of us go through this in senior year -- I know I did. At least it gives you an idea on where to put your energies, and who to spend your time with.
Finally, you know we love you, right? Right?!? I mean, I even nudge you every now and then, even when I know you're too busy. :P

And I'm a junior right now, so I have even more great fun to look forward to next year? Oh goody. Jk.. i just wish i had less time before i graduate, but i guess many in high school wish for that. These the best years of my life? Lies... But I'll find the good years, i'm sure. Just need to have more patience.
