one of the hamsters died.
it was pretty sad because i was just kinda chilling and went into the garage to play with my little baby hamsters (we have 6 hamsters... well, 5 now.) when i looked over at blacky's (the hamster that died) cage and saw a black animal stuck in between the chair. at first it was like, "what the... that rat's awfully big." and then i get closer and i see that the cage is empty and i'm like "OH CRAP he escaped!" but he's stuck so i'm like, "okay, that's good." and then i pull him out. and.. it's really sad because i guess he'd been stuck there for a while. so his lower body had been compressed between the two chairs, and his legs wouldn't move; in fact, the rest of his body was kinda pale from the cut-off circulation.
i think he got stuck because he was crawling between the chairs, but his lower body (where the legs are) were wider than his face and upper body, so he couldn't get through. we had to kill him because he was in so much pain. he was limping around and looked almost dead sometimes; you could still see the areas that were bent into the shape of the chair and i'm pretty sure his internal organs had been either ripped (extended) or squished. god, that's a terrible way to die. ;___;
