They are sitting on a swing my husband made for my birthday one year. I am working from a picture taken on Easter Sunday in 2003. It is one of my favorite pictures of them. That green blob in the background is an old VW we sold 2 years ago.

Love it! It's such a shame that family portraits have passed out of vogue for the most part (at least the painted kind)...they're just so...cool. **Especially** when painted by a family member!
