So I have a 3rd cousin who is a h.s. student where I sub, and lo and behold, he's come to me for help because he's in the process of coming out, and wanted someone to talk to. Look at you being mr counseler. I'd expect you to pay me for coming to you. JUST KIDDING! We've all been through those stupid stages so I guess we just need to let him have his turn.

Boo to your grandparents showing up to Thanksgiving, but yay that it seems like they are making an effort.

P.S. I should give you my home phone number to give to your grandma. She and my parents can have a big prayer session! :-P

Eeep... I hope it goes well with your cousin and your Grandma... based on the last post, it looks like it's slowly improving... which is better than no improvement at all.

He's most likely in a phase right now. The best you can do at this point is just be his friend and, like you said, keep an eye out so he doesn't do anything drastic. I went through my own "I hate all men" phase when I was going through the coming out process. Like all drama, this will pass, he'll start opening up to you again, and things will get better.
