Melou, ducking in for a moment, notices him and eeps and attempts to backtrack, because he is a good boy who doesn't want to bother anybody.

Felix looks up and then offers Melou one of those smiles of his. "Excuse me, is this your chair?"

"Nay, sir," promptly and dutifully.

Felix sets down his book and gives him a curious look. "Were you on your way somewhere?"

Steerpike is there as well, not too far, thinking of a million things as he sifts through books of history and politics. He wants to know who he is. He's got to be mentionned somewhere.

Felix looks up at a rustle and blinks at Steerpike. "Excuse me," he says, almost politely, to get his attention.

Steerpike looks up. And blinks.

"Yes?"

"If I could borrow you for a few moments and ask some questions of you..."

He doesn't recognize him, no. ...but he does note that Steerpike is vaguely handsome, and that's a quick sizing up for you, just looking him over.

And as it's been so much fun to hate one another, Cyrano will pass by, notice Felix, stifle a grunt - but show some contempt nonetheless, and proceed to installing himself at a table, and writing.

Felix will look up, note Cyrano, and smile. Anyone who knew Felix would see the wicked light dancing in his eyes that prefaces one of those times when he's about to get nasty.

He stands gracefully and strides over to look over Cyrano's shoulder. "Ah! I had assumed you were an actor, but I see that my distinguished acquaintance is rather a playwright. I'm saddened that I haven't heard of you." A touch of bite to the words. But just a touch.

"You probably have not been in the erudite circles," Cyrano replies in an indifferent mutter. He continues to work, ignoring Felix completely.

The smile widens. "To the contrary! I keep a box at the theatre in Melusine for my particular use. One might call me an enthusiast for the arts."

Pascal will walk in, and go straight to the medical section, almost not noticing Felix, but in a feat of extraordinary observance, he sees him, and comes by, clearing his throat embarassedly.

He likes him and wants to see him, but he's not sure what to do with, er, whatever happened, that other day.

Felix looks up, and then smiles on of those trademark brilliant smiles and stands up. "Ah, Pascal!" He says, undeniably pleased to see him. "Such a pleasure to see you here."

Pascal tugs on his collar. "Félix ." He smiles sheepishly, very happy for the reception. "You look well."

He means, you look hot.

Oh, Pascal.

Felix stretches and then takes two strides over to him, still beaming. "You look delightful today."
