He probably won't notice Ron and Hermione waiting for him on his first glance around the room. He'll only see a lone couple, kissing rather passionately on one of the couches, a half completed structure of cards nearby.

If he looks more carefully, he'll notice that the boy is a red-head. And that as he wraps his arms around the girl's waist (the girl has bushy hair, coincidentally) and pulls her closer for proper snoggage, he's blushing furiously the entire time.

Harry stares at the scene in uncertainty, and the recent dredging back up of the memory makes him think for a moment that he's imagining things. After all, it couldn't be . . . but of course, it is.

He narrows his eyes, waiting, not speaking, wondering how long it'll take them to notice that he's standing right there. They go on kissing, like he's just a lampstand or a painting. He doesn't even exist for them.

Finally, he clears his throat.

Hermione hears the sound of a throat clearing and pulls away from Ron. She looks behind her to see Harry staring at them, a peculiar expression on his face. “Oh no. . .” she whispers, looking very panicked.
