Luna bursts into the common room in one last burst of engery she had left in her. Once she turned the corner of the corrior where she was talking with Hermione, she had pushed herself into a full out run. Now she stops herself suddenly before she plowed right into surly looking 4th year, who was carrying a massive load of thick text books. She

When Mandy hears someone flying through the common room, she looks up from her Arithmancy revision. She's startled to see that it's Luna Lovegood, looking quite distressed. She puts her quill down and walks over to Luna's seat.

"What's happened?" she asks softly, so as not to startle the girl.

Luna peeks out from behind a gap she made between her fingers. Seeing that is was Mandy, she drops her hands in her lap. "I just received some bad news," Luna replies mysteriously, "Don't worry yourself; it's nothing so important." The blonde girl folds her hands in her lap, and stares down at them, noticing a freckle that wasn't there before.

Mandy takes a seat near Luna. "If it has you this upset, it must be something important," she chides her quietly.

Luna frowns and blinks slowly. "Well, it's rather silly. I'm acting as if we were dating," Luna says with out thinking. She was planning not to really devludge anything to Mandy, but the words popped out before she could stop them.
