Thank you more than you know. I really need to set aside some time tonight for meditation and solitude and darkness. I ought to start my yoga again. It always seemed to help center me.
Go ahead! It's your right to do so...fairegirl69December 17 2004, 19:16:09 UTC
Not everything that goes on in your life needs to be seen or heard by everyone -
Personally I use the private lock a bit - just to vent but not to anyone, however, it really does feel good to get it out. Then sometime down the road you can always look back on it and reflect (privately).
Not all of us need to know so I say - HUZZAH to you! It's really nice of you though to let us know what you're kinda' thinking of doing so that way we don't all assume you fell off the face of the earth, while we eagerly await a new post.

I have always used the "private" lock to keep some things to myself. I write on general specifics, if you know what I mean, in my public posts. In other words, if you know me at all, you can figure it all out. And just because I'm keeping the journal 'friends only' doesn't mean I am going to start posting more secrets or information. It just means I want to know who is reading. You know? I'm just a basket case right now, that's all.
You know I've kept my journal friend only for a while now. I also use filters for many posts
That's the beauty of LJ. You can control who reads your stuff. Lately in my life, you and M. have been the only ones to read much of what's going on. It's okay to want to share some things with some people and not the masses.
Your journal. Your way. Just know I love you, sistah-friend. Tons and tons.
Seems like the massive upheaval thing is going on for lots of folks, especially us Geminis. You know you've got my support with whatever you do. If I can be there for you in anyway let me know. Yule is coming. It is time for re-birth. You're a mom, you know that birth, though a joyful thing, can be very painful as well. It also brings massive changes in every part of life, some in areas we never expected.
that's it in a nutshell. As crazy as it sounds to want to rip myself away from everything I know and have grown up with, it also feels like the only way I really will be able to build a new life.
Take myself out of my comfort zone, and let myself create a life that *I* want, not the one I muddled into.

Do what you have to do, sweetie, and what's best for you and yours. I understand the feeling, believe me.
Know that you're loved here, ok?
