Not much advice is needed.. just don't wander around the tube (subway) w/ an open pocket book and get a book on british slang... you'll fit in better ;)

Oh.
And stay out of East London... it's kinda really dodgy/skeevy. A lot like Asbury Park when it was REALLY bad.
