Oh, Sky. He's just trying to give you advice and be a caring dad! We all, as children, feel patronized when our parents do this but in reality it's just what they know how to do best.

Having lost a parent, I can see both sides because I DON'T receive that kind of love and care anymore. So I can tell you from experience that that's what it is.

I'd give anything to have my mother nagging me about my schoolwork and my clothes and telling me I look like I gained 10 pounds. :-\
