Hey there. I just went to SF and Napa for my honeymoon a few weeks ago. For wineries, I really liked Sterling (in Calistoga) and V. Sattui (most excellent deli). If you like sweet wines, the Sterling Malvasia Blanca was nice. There aren't that many Reislings that we've gotten used to from the Finger Lakes and Long Island, but the Muscats are close. Domaine Chandon (sparkling wines from Louis Vitton) was okay, but that was about the sixth winery that day, so we didn't try much.

In Napa proper, we thought Zuzu's was a great place, no reservations, tapas and sangria. Every dish was delicious. And the most awesome meal I've ever had was the tasting menu at Redd in Yountsville. It might be hard to get reservations on short notice. It was $70/person for a five course tasting menu without wine (we were completely wined out by then), but it was worth every bit.

Well, drat! I'm already back in Fresno. However, I will keep all this in mind if my cousin wants to go wine tasting next week. Thanks! And congrats!
