Job-hunting is tiring

I just spent the last 2 and a half hours driving around, sending out resumes, and getting told "We'll call you". I actually have no idea what to think. If a store wants you you'd think that they would say something like we'll be speaking to you very shortly, or something like that. Instad they all say the same thing..."We'll call you". hey, this is jen, one of avra's best friends. i was actually supposed to come out and meet you last night and i'm angry i said i was too tired cause i wanted to meet you!

see, what you need to do when dropping off resumes is to ask to speak with the manager or at least hand your resume to the manager, that way you know for sure that the manager has seen you and will look over your resume. that's what i did and i got three calls from three different jobs. i also got an interview right on the spot.

i guess it all depends where you are applying

Hey Jen, sorry you couldnt come last night but i'm sure i'll meet you soon enough. Thanks for the tip, luckily every store i went to did let me talk to the manager so hopefully i'll get a few call backs. Hope you got enough sleep last night so u could do something tonight.

and yes i got enough sleep last night so i was able to go out tonight. but with whom did i end up going out with? that is the question ....
