Ok, so the light at the end of the tunnel gets brighter with every passing day. Buying Eurail passes, international student cards, finishing Jane Eyre, finishing the Great Expectations paper, getting prepped for project presentation day, with every passing event, I can taste it. Know what you mean... There are definitely people with whom I feel like I should be making more of an effort, but we just don't, which is sad. It's a weird place to be in because only a few people are going to Western, but all the UW kids won't be that far away so do I really have an excuse..?

I agree the only word for it most likely is sad, cause that's how I feel about it most times. And as far as the making an effort element, I just can't figure out why it doesn't happen. I mean, would it just make things awkward to actually push forth an effort?

You know, I'm not sure. Maybe the awkwardness factor depends on the people... But I think the conclusion I'm coming to is that it might be more sad/awkward to just fade out of each other's lives.

I very well might take that last part to heart, it struck a chord. I guess I've got quite a bit ahead of me, and not a whole lot of time.
