that things are pretty dull around here: the news headline on the local news station is a man from Nebraska who has "quite the barbed wire collection, and he's not the only one." I will be so glad to escape Maine, though I do love it so, but sometimes its too much.

..... I find the disconcerting thing to be - not so much that it's so dull they are doing a story about a guy with a barbed wire collection; but that it's so boring in Maine that they are doing a story on a guy from NEBRASKA.
