Guinea Pigs

So, I'm in a quandary. Back in October, the most awesome guinea pig in the entire world (second only to Ruby) showed up in the Pet-co down the street from our house. He's white with a black spot around one eye, and on his backside, and his all coarse and wiry. But guinea pigs are so cute!! The real question here is: Do you have enough time to devote to the animals you already have and can you do the same if two new animals are introduced? I'm sure you'd do well but it is more responsibility.

yeah, I know, and thats part of the problem. I'm not sure if I have the space and time for two more animals. Part of the point of getting two would be so they would have each other to play with when I'm busy. Guinea pigs are messy, though. And can be smelly. And I have a bad habit of getting lazy about cleaning up after animals. Also, while they don't take up a lot of space, we have a small apartment. So, while I really, really, really want him, I'm not sure that it's the best idea.
