Lucifer

And of course, just as Lucifer gets interesting again after a bit of hit-and-miss season, it gets cancelled. So very sad.

I'm just hoping they didn't decide to end the season (and now series) on a cliffhanger.

ETA: And here's an article about the upcoming cliffhanger. Well, maybe someone will write a proper fic ending ( Read more... )

fandom: lucifer, there's no such thing as too much tv

They probably will. Most shows these days, unless they are told ahead of time that they are going to end soon/on the bubble of possible cancellation, often always end their seasons on a (sometimes massive) cliffhanger. It's what makes premature surprise cancellations so frustrating because we never get a proper conclusion.

I didn't watch Lucifer, but it was always on my queue of things I needed to watch. It's just been an endless amount of bad news regarding shows getting cancelled left and right lately, hasn't it? :(

Sadly, you're probably right. And honestly, with only one episode left, there was no way we can get a proper wrap-up no matter what. :(

It has! I saw your post about Brooklyn Nine-Nine and The Expanse too. I didn't watch either, though I've been meaning to watch The Expanse, but I heard so many good things about both!

It's turning into a very disappointing cancellation season. Here's hoping that all three shows get picked up somewhere else.

Apparently all the networks that were reported to wanted to save B99? All passed on it. Like, I'm so heartbroken and gutted I actually feel nauseous. It makes me wonder why they all seemingly passed so quickly when the announcement of the cancellation only happened yesterday. This is bullshit. I want to have hope that someone will want to save it, but now it doesn't look likely. And I had my hopes up, too, considering the overwhelming response to the cancellation yesterday.... :'(

I am holding onto some hope for The Expanse, at least.

But damn, all these cancellations have been brutal and harsh.

I'm sorry. That's so disappointing!

I'll think good thoughts for The Expanse. Netflix said they were focusing on SF, right? So The Expanse would fit there, at least.
