Long time, no post

Sorry for the long delay.

Things have been a little rough in what is usually my seaside paradise.  Part of this is moving into a new and wonderful flat which does increase my necessary spending by about $200 a month. Ouch.  I hate worrying about money, but I'm currently living as close to my means as I ever really care to.

LOVE the concept of a winter goal. Can't wait to hear how this year's shapes up, and wishing I would have had that revelation a few months ago. Ah, well...next year.

I think I have two strong contenders for this winter's goal: one is learning how to play the ukulele, and the other is writing an indie-rock musical version of Shakespeare's play "The Tempest." Both of which sound really pretentious now that I've written them down, but are already occupying a good-sized portion of my available brainspace. We'll see.
