Nadionola with Hydroquinone

I am using a cream product that has 3% hydroquinone for fading hyperpigmentation on my face. I have a lot of individual "dots" of hyperpigmentation, and it's easier for me to apply the product if I rub it into one large area (such as, one whole cheek), even though the whole cheek doesn't need it. I asked my derm this question and he said it does fade everything it touches. You'll get better results if you use a q-tip or even the tip of a narrow makeup brush- just something with a small tip - and apply it that way, directly on spots. If you have a makeup mirror that enlarges the reflection, all the better. Patience, grasshopper...

I was using Ultraquin for a while, which comes in both a gel and a cream form and is 4% It's easy to get in Canada, but I think a prescription might be required in the U.S. http://www.canderm.com/page.asp?intNodeID=8020
and it only really worked when I used a sunscreen.

I don't know if you ladies/gents realize but hydroquinone has now been linked to cancer and is banned in the UK.
