So flight to Japan is booked, I leave Melbourne on the 4th of November at 5 PM. Get to Singapore at 9PM and fly to Osaka at 1 AM, arriving in Osaka at 8 AM on the 5th. I should be happy, I got a good deal from Nova's travel agent but the whole visa-not-yet-sorted thing worries me. Yeah, I'm a little neurotic at times

I'm going back to Nova and teaching. Devil I know..type thing. I head to Osaka on the 4th. Know I'm there and in Namba but not shifts or anything yet. Cannot believe I'm going back, and now.

Don't worry about the comment, I'd actually forgotten I'd left it o:) How are things going for you? I really need to catch up!

Japanese Immigration office is still processing Certificate of Eligibility. It will be sent directly to me and then I take it to the visa office in Melbourne. No timeline yet. Pressing issue is that my Australian visa expires on November 5th. Oy.

Gah, why are these processes so damn hideously inefficient? And there's absolutely nothing you can do to speed it up either, is there?

Nope, not more than I have. I've arranged it so that the Japan office is sending the COE directly to me in Melbourne but that's about all I can do. The rest is beautiful bureaucracy.

Off to bed to hopefully not dream of visa apps.
