Sorry if this is a bit of an odd question, but.. why were you looking for a desert?

Because the desert is my home. Who would not wish for a taste of that in this place?

Ah.. I didn't know.. I've never met someone before who lived in the desert. But it's only natural that you want to see some of home in this place, otherwise you might get a little homesick, right?
