What lengths will a girl go to for a pair of shoes? In my case it would be Burwood. I had seen these shoes when I was at Bondi a couple of weekends ago but they only had one pair in my size that had been stretch beyond wearability. Then my sister told me they had the same store in Burwood. Just as well I was in the area. I worked at Strathfield

Ooooh Bettina Liano. That store scares me. Well, the one in the strand arcade does - it has sheer change room curtains!! People walk past the store and can see you nude!!

That and everything is tincy. I so cannot imagine any of their stuff fitting me, even though I have lost weight (I still have thighs).

How much would I be looking at for a pair of Bettina Lianos? I am gonna get a pair of Levi flarey type jeans when I get rid of my last 1.6kg, but I want a pair of skinny jeans as well.

Don't be scared of the Bondi store. I refuse to go to the Strand Arcade store because the girls who work in there are awful and look you up and down (and then ignore you completely).

They've got a whole range of jeans. You just tell them what you're looking for and they'll pull them out for you. My pair cost $195 which is the most I've ever paid for jeans but I think good jeans are worth it. Everyone seems to have pricey jeans these days.

If I had the money, I'd go back and get me some Charlotte jeans. That's what I was looking for in the first place (I'm pretty sure hers are skinny jeans). And I even tried my pair in the same-ish colour as hers, but I ended up getting the darker colour (I like it better on me).

I'm usually in flares or bootcut so it was really weird trying them on at first. I kept thinking it was too tight. But I guess that's something you just get used to.

Yeah, darker is more flattering ;) I'm very much a bootleg or flares type as well (more casual), but I have found myself wanting to dress more "nicely" lately. I think I'm growing up. Haha. I think I would feel weird in them as well, especially considering I have always worn skirts because I hated my legs.

I am so going to have to get me a pair of skinny jeans, though.
