The closer you become with this world, the farther you become with God. The closer you become with God, the more you understand the world.
the first i would agree with but the latter...not so much. God and the world are opposite. God gave the world to Satan and put it under his control. i dont think that understanding and gettin closer to God will help you understand this world and from a Christian perspective, why would you want to understand the world?
