I am sick and freakin' tired of hearing all of the baseball strike crap. I am not a huge baseball fan, but was fortunate enough to attend games out in Colorado recently, and it was a blast; I actually had a great time. I'm a HUGE baseball fan and I'm mad as hell with all this strike talk. It's bullshit. I love baseball. It makes me so happy to go to a Yankee game (hell, even a *gasp!* Mets game) or even to watch a game on tv (when it's not on YES those 4 times a year -- freaking Cablevision -- but that's another rant) -- and to think that MY boys are thinking about striking bcs of SALARY and oh!, don't forget that oh-so controversial steriod testing. I love baseball, but why should it be different from any other sport out there. Grant it, without steroids, we wouldn't have the Mark McGwire's and yes, I'll admit it, most likely, we wouldn't have the Jason Giambi's of the world either. But come on people! Don't you realize that argueing AGAINST testing is only proving the rumors to be true? So what if the fans don't get a new home run record every year. We had gone years and years (since Mantle and Roger Marris) before Sammy Sosa and Mark McGwire even came into our lives. Suck it up and deal guys.
