What I really want right now is ...

and old typewriter, possibly an Underwood still in functional ability. I want one so I can sit at my desk anf write and write like it was the old days. So my little prose and poems would be justified in some way. Yeah, that would be really nice.

On a side note, I am ungrounded.

they are. Especially old ones. I know a guy who has one stashed under his bed that he uses to write with at 3 AM. mmm...

The old ones are by far the best ones. Oh that's great, I would love using it to write at some ungodly hour of the morning.

i have two typewriters:
- a smith corona from like the 80's a la jack nicholson in the shining
- a prettypretty one that doesnt really work well anymore from 1920-1930's something like that.

both were given to me.. so my advice ask around with yr relatives and stuff,dahling.

Oh wow, I am uber jealous. How I want a typewriter like Jack's from The Shining. Do you use it often? I would use the HELL out of it. & yes, I want one for a decorative piece as well.

Yeah, I think I'm going to start asking around for donations to "Melissa's Typewriter Fund" & hopefully some obscure relative will cough one up for me !
